Wrap: Director Ti West and Actress Ashley Palmer!

On Tuesday, October 27th at 8PM - LIVE! From the Future…with Stuart Paap! welcomed Ti West, Director of “The House of the Devil” and Ashley Palmer, actress from “Paranormal Activity”.

First, Ti West joins us; Ti is a precocious young filmmaker who’s made 4 feature films – and he’s not even 30! His latest film, “The House of the Devil” (in theaters Friday, Oct. 30th and on VOD now) is a throwback to old school horror flix from the ’80’s, when Satanic rituals were all the rage. In the movie, college student Samantha Hughes (Jocelin Donahue) tries to pick up a quick $400 to babysit a house; then, all goes… to HELL!

2.R2.Ti.Smiling

Ti West, imagining how he’d slaughter Stu in a horror movie. Spoiler Alert! He’d do it slowly using a battery and nipple clamps.

3.R2.Ti.Autographs

Ti autographs a few “House of the Devil” shirts for fans. (Note: real blood)

4.R2.ASK

“Anonymous Serial Killer” played a mean set of keys. I asked him where John Fulron was – he had no comment – about anything. All night.

1.R2.Ashley.Palmer

Next up, the effervescent Ashley Palmer joins us to talk about her hit movie “Paranormal State” – the low budget thriller that is tearing up the box office. She wrapped production over three years ago, but they are killing all the competition thanks to scary-but-believable scenarios about exorcisms.

We also play: “Body Count High” – she has to guess which movies have higher body counts; and let’s not forget “Horror or Porno?” – a fairly self-explanatory game.

We wrap up Ashley’s interview with the 60 second gauntlet – and we’re out!

5.R2.Jessie.Smiling

Jessie “Slitherman” was serving up cold-blooded IM’s all night – then, she shed her snuggie-skin, ate a hamster and bounced.

6.R2.Pumpkins.Desk

The tiny skulls of all our former guests. At least they’re happy!

7.R2.TI.Stu.Talk

Ti explains what it’s like to hold a human skull while Stu contemplates when his horns have to go back to West Hollywood.

8.R2.Stu.Jessie.AshleyMissing: 1 Ronnie James Dio. Nevertheless, sweet album cover, right?

Special Thanks:

Miriam Urizar for the amazing makeup

Lawrence Anthony for most of the above photos

Producer LV for additional photos, getting decorations, twittering during the show and all her hard work every week

Brad “ASK” Watson for the music – it was (ahem) KILLER!

Arianne Ayers and Jason Stoff from Magnolia Pictures for Ti and the merch for giveaways!

And of course, Jared, Brian, Chloe, Jessie, John, Eric, Dave and everyone who helps on the show – it’s a group effort.

Jordan Peele from MadTV!

LIVE! From the Future…with Stuart Paap!

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009!

From MadTV, comedian/puppeteer/great guy Jordan Peele!

And from Guiding Light actress/yoga enthusiast/motorcycle lover Jessica Griffin!

Watch This Episode on www.theStream.tv

Kids – we were packed to the Gilmore Girls with lots o’ show! First up, in tribute to a late legend, it was time for an interactive game with the chatroom-mates: Finish the MJ Lyrics. Props to Guatemalan Man, but our winner was Alexa who stumbled at first, but she redeemed herself by getting the lyric “Tenderoni” from PYT. Alexa, you were our PYT – Precocious Young Thing.

(The talented Andrea Ball subbing in for Jessie Schneiderpants Schneiderman)

Then, Jessica Griffin came on the show to discuss her wardrobe malfunction from Guiding Light, East Coast vs. West Coast, and motorcycles. We also play a soap opera improv game called Come Again?, with the now most awkward theme song in the history of music – thanks John Fulron! Finally, the chat-rooms got to choose which useless skill they wanted to see from Jessica in Skills that don’t pay the bills! Will it be her Western Irish accent, her Springsteen impression, or her Tongue Rolling? Hmmm… I wonder. Pervs.

Next up was hilarious and multi-talented Jordan Peele from MadTV, who told us how he got his start in show bizness, doing improv in Chicago, living in Amsterdam for 3 years – which led us to our next game: What the hell am I saying? where I gave Jordan 5 phrases in Dutch and he had to guess what they meant. Then, we got a visit from President Obama, who commented on our show, and we rounded it out with Jordan showing us how to make a ghetto roommate! All packed into this 45 minute ep-uh-sawde! GET IT!

(Jordan Peele and Stuart Paap try a new interview technique – cheek to cheek)

Missed Kevin G. Schmidt and Kelly Stables?

LIVE! From the Future…with Stuart Paap!

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009!

From the webseries Poor Paul, actor and co-creator Kevin G Schmidt!

And from the horror web series Soul Fire Rising, actor and producer Kelly Stables!

Watch This Double Stuffed episode on www.theStream.tv

Kids – what a great show! We triple-strapped on our adult diapers and got right to the party! First up, we played a twist on an old classic chatroom game. It was You Supply the Setup! (See what we did there?) But things went a little more awkwardly than planned. Thanks chatroom! At least Jessie was back and looking buff from the bar method. I guess cutting out blow and booze does make a difference in your health… amazing.

(Jessie shows of her guns and sweet smile! Love you Schneiderpants!!!)

Then, Kevin G. Schmidt came on the show to discuss his funny and clever web series Poor Paul (Season 2 just released), which is about 3 roommates trying to co-exist. Check it out at PoorPaul.com or at Koldcast.TV

Kevin got his start in the business at age 10 and has been working ever since. He was in Cheaper by the Dozen, currently works on the Young and the Restless and is in the new Chipmunks movie which comes out around Christmas. Then we played a game called: He’s the Schmidt! where Kevin had to guess which other (much less) successful Kevin Schmidts were which. (It’ll make sense if you watch).

(Kevin and Stuart take quick power-naps in the middle of the show.)

Next up was the lovely and vivacious Kelly Stables. We talked about her impressive web series called Soul Fire Rising… She plays a winger in the series, which is a guardian angel, but things don’t go as planned. In the show she gets to hold a flaming blade of death, fight demons and even fly. Hey, I want that job!

(”No Stuart, I don’t want to play Bingo right now… we’re doing an interview.”)

Kelly also talked about her new Christmas movie on ABC Family, her extensive voiceover work, and what is what like to kiss Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. Most importantly, we learn how to convince any woman to take her shirt off… it has something to do with wearing an earpiece.

Killola – yes please!

Killola – LIVE

(You can/should watch the full episode HERE)

We had an assless chaps full of pants full of show last night – dare I say it – we may have had too much show for one night – instant songs by John, instant messages from Australia, an online contest, interviews and a live performance by Killola!

First, Juan Fulton (that’s John Fulton to Anglophones) was back in the saddle…

John tunes up with Jessie.

…and like the Roman Emperor he claims to be, was fanning himself and eating grapes with many a young wench nearby (sorry Jessie, but wench isn’t a bad term).

Jessie was back (and by ‘back’, we mean ‘mentally sober’) from Coachella, and she told us 3 things she learned at the desert festival (spoiler alert: #1: wax your back before you go)

Also, Stu shared about his one and only awkward rubdown of a random dude on a tennis court

Dude: “Will you put some lotion on my back?”
Stu: “Ummmm… sure?”

We also threw a few things into the Time Capsule: talent tv shows, the Pontiac – I’m looking at you Fiero, and the adult diaper, which, incidentally, are the three things you need to make for a great weekend.

Then, Jessie’s parents joined us in the chat room from D.C. and I tucked them into bed, we found out that we have chatroom-mates from Australia, AND we tried to stump John Fulton with “He’s a John-ius”, where he had to write instant songs from just a chatroom suggested song title, but John pulled it out with three instant classics!

“Donut hoe-down”
“I’m the best part of the show”
“Damn you homeless man for making me trip balls.”

Last but not least, we got served up a hot 360 second plate of pure speed interviews with all members of Killola (4 interviews in 6 minutes – a must see), then we did 45 seconds of IM names and FINALLY, we heard them play 2 great songs.

Killola live on the show!
