Hurtling Through Space at an Alarming Rate! – an absurdist sci-fi comedy series that follows the adventures of Mike Davies Jr. and Stuart Paap.

These two golf and game-obsessed pop-culture buffs are trapped in their apartment as it’s literally hurtling through space at an alarming rate!

Everything still works; all the comforts of home are remarkably intact. Moreover, friends, family, and even the pizza guy can come and go as they please through the back door – just not Mike and Stuart.

Each episode (6 in total, debuting every Monday on Babelgum.com/htsaaar) finds the apartment landing on an odd planet, often inhabited by slightly meddlesome creatures. Faced with a new predicament, viewers are left to ponder: “Will they get off this planet?”

The comedy sci-fi web series that I shot in Vancouver debuts today on Babelgum!

It’s 6 episodes, airing every Monday – also, I wrote and Co-Directed the 3rd episode, which should be Nov. 16th. I’ll be showing a clip of it on the shows tomorrow.

Brian Huskey (pronounced WHOS – Kaaaay) or as he maintained: Brian Huunshzqe was the hilarious guest. He was, what we like to call, A GAMER – up for anything, including telling us how his ex-roomate Rob Corddry used to be a serious actor. Seriously.

He also told us how a wandering squadron of Lebanese men invaded the set of VH1’s Free Radio and stole their food, what it was like to work with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, and he gives the exact dimensions of his man business.

Then, we did not one – but three full rounds of Jeff and Rick Trail: Mid-level warehouse managers (must watch), did one version of FREAKY TALENT (which involves both his lips and some lube), saw a new exclusive video of I LOVE LA, and then rounded it out with improvised 15 second commercials, in Spanish, Stu vs. Brian (involved beer, knives, Jessie, and two mustaches.)

PLUS – we kicked off the show with chat room – You supply the punchline! and gave you one and ONLY one Useless Fact about Cinco de Mayo! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriba – a ha ha ha ha, etc. and all that Jazz.

Killola – yes please!

We had an assless chaps full of pants full of show last night – dare I say it – we may have had too much show for one night – instant songs by John, instant messages from Australia, an online contest, interviews and a live performance by Killola!

First, Juan Fulton (that’s John Fulton to Anglophones) was back in the saddle…

…and like the Roman Emperor he claims to be, was fanning himself and eating grapes with many a young wench nearby (sorry Jessie, but wench isn’t a bad term).

Jessie was back (and by ‘back’, we mean ‘mentally sober’) from Coachella, and she told us 3 things she learned at the desert festival (spoiler alert: #1: wax your back before you go)

Also, Stu shared about his one and only awkward rubdown of a random dude on a tennis court

Dude: “Will you put some lotion on my back?”
Stu: “Ummmm… sure?”

We also threw a few things into the Time Capsule: talent tv shows, the Pontiac – I’m looking at you Fiero, and the adult diaper, which, incidentally, are the three things you need to make for a great weekend.

Then, Jessie’s parents joined us in the chat room from D.C. and I tucked them into bed, we found out that we have chatroom-mates from Australia, AND we tried to stump John Fulton with “He’s a John-ius”, where he had to write instant songs from just a chatroom suggested song title, but John pulled it out with three instant classics!

“I’m the best part of the show”
“Damn you homeless man for making me trip balls.”

Last but not least, we got served up a hot 360 second plate of pure speed interviews with all members of Killola (4 interviews in 6 minutes – a must see), then we did 45 seconds of IM names and FINALLY, we heard them play 2 great songs.
